Many people will make special plans for Christmas.  Some will drive to grandma’s house to gather with family members and share a large meal. Others will book a trip to the snow, which could be nearby to them or it could be on another continent.  We all have our annual Christmas time getaway, what is yours?

Getting away this time of year can mean a warm tropical island to some people as they want to get away from the cold.  Where you choose to spend your time might involve a cruise Christmas, a theme park Christmas or it could be a Lapland Christmas.

Lapland is the northern section of Finland and here is where families go each year to experience a winter wonderland and meet with Santa.  This can be just a one day visit or they can book a short break to take part in tobogganing, snowmobiling and pet the reindeer and huskies who pull the sleds.  It doesn’t matter where you annual Christmas getaway takes you, as long as you are with loved ones, it will be special and memorable.  From the white sand beaches to the snow covered mountain tops, and everything in between, its a time of year for peach and good will to all.
